My MR2 needs a subframe replacement anyway. Maybe it’s time to go full M A D M A X M R 2. What does OPPO think?

I think you should figure what you want to do with your car, and once you have start buying and installing the parts. You’ve spoken about many ideas but as it sits your cars still exactly the same. It may be time to decide and commit to a goal.

For example you want to make it a rally car so the first two things you can do is buy the rims you want and fender flares to match. It won’t require much special skill to do that (no welding)

My rally instructor Jim Co-drives this Mr2;

Kinja'd!!!

He says it’s the most terrifying car to rally, fast though.

You’ve probably seen my post history with the MR2 and know that I’ve got a big imagination but difficulty committing to any specific path. Thank you for pointing that out, it’d probably serve me well to think things through and plan something out.

Enkei makes a rally wheel (RC-G4) that fits my MR2:

Could be cool for sure :D

I’ve been watching(lurking) the subject for a while.

Personally, I go through with projects that I probably shouldn’t (see: rear mount turbo, handmade fender flares, project cars)

It always starts with a list of the parts I’ll need or want to get the project done along with the associated price of each item.

There’s always the slightly lowered on oem rim route, which is probably the most affordable.
